To the vibrant, fearless, and determined youth of Nkulumane,

As we celebrate Youth Day, we must take a moment to reflect on who we are, what we stand for, and where we are going. We are not just young people waiting for the future to happen—we are the present, and our actions today determine the future we will inherit. The dreams we nurture, the skills we sharpen, and the battles we fight now will define Nkulumane for generations to come.

The theme for 2025, Empower Youth, Secure the Future, is more than just words—it is a battle cry for this generation. It resonates deeply with my vision for 2025, where every young person in Nkulumane is empowered, engaged, and actively shaping their destiny. This vision is not mine alone—it aligns with the vision of our Senior MP, Hon. Desire Moyo, a leader who has consistently championed youth empowerment. In May 2024, he formed the Youth Cluster under the Nkulumane Constituency Development Committee, ensuring that the voices of young people are not just heard but are instrumental in decision-making. His philosophy is simple but powerful: Nothing for the youth without the youth! This is a defining moment for us to rise and take charge of our future.

Our constituency is filled with potential, but potential alone is not enough. It must be unlocked through action, unity, and resilience. We cannot afford to sit on the sidelines while decisions about our future are made without us. We must demand our space at the table, whether in governance, entrepreneurship, climate action, or social development. The days of waiting for change to happen are over—we are the change-makers, and it starts now!

Young people of Nkulumane, let us remember that success is not final, and failure is not fatal—it is the courage to continue that defines us! We will face obstacles, but let them not break us. Instead, let them fuel our determination. We must rise above our circumstances, break through barriers, and forge paths where none exist. We have the energy, the creativity, and the resilience to build an Nkulumane that is prosperous, inclusive, and youth-driven.

As Nelson Mandela once said, “The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow.” But leadership is not something that begins when we grow older—it begins today, with the choices we make, the knowledge we seek, and the responsibility we take for our communities. Let us prepare ourselves now to lead with wisdom, courage, and integrity.

We are the heartbeat of Nkulumane! We are the future, but more importantly, we are the present. Let us unite, let us fight for what is rightfully ours, and let us build a constituency where youth empowerment is not a privilege but a fundamental right.

Aluta Continua! Victory is Certain!
